Illustration of how to build a DNS SPF record using Cloudflare that enables G Suite for sending e-mails.
In this instance, We will be using G Suite as a service for sending and our domain as test.example.com.
We need to generate the following SPF record within DNS to permit G Suite for sending e-mails in place of our domain.
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
As now that we have the value that needed to generate our SPF record let’s proceed and add it to the Cloudflare DNS for test.example.com.
1. Sign in with Cloudflare.
2. Choose your existing domain from the account.
3. Choose the domain you want to generate the SPF record in.
4. Select the DNS option as shown below.
5. The following UI will be displayed on your screen, which is where the SPF record is created.
6. Create and fill in the required area as seen at the start of this article.
TXT is the record type
In this instance, the record name will be test.example.com.
The above record’s value segment includes the:
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all
TTL set will be Automatic and proceed by clicking Add Record.
